About Scarrella Ministries (TSM) and Ministry Training Institute (MTI)
Reverend Tom Scarrella founded Scarrella Ministries in 1986. In addition to founding TSM and Ministry Training Institute (MTI), Tom and Susie travel around the world ministering in churches, schools, conferences, and crusades. Tom and Susie preach and live with a strong emphasis on Revival, Passion, and the Power of God. Many individuals have a calling on their lives for ministry and have an insatiable desire to go to a Bible college. However, many people are unable to attend a Bible college due to financial obligations, current lifestyle commitments, children's education, etc. Now there is an alternative! Whether students simply want to learn more about the Bible and grow spiritually or for students seeking practical training for full-time ministry, MINISTRY TRAINING INSTITUTE (MTI) is right for you!
MTI is different that any other correspondence Bible college. MTI's aim is to train individuals for spiritual growth, as well as, practical and biblical ministry. Many Bible Collegesand other correspondence-based programs tend to place a heavy focus on the courses its theological studies. Although this information can be important it is unlikely to be used on a practical ministry level and will be difficult to incorporate into an individuals' ministry calling. In fact, a Barna survey
study was conducted proving that most Bible colleges teach useless information for practical ministry application; concluding that the average amount of utilized studies was a meager five to ten percent of that which was learned.
Taking that into consideration, MTI is dedicated to high standards, ensuring that every student will find each course contents packed with practical, applicable, and useful information, which will enable students to immediately apply these teachings in their daily Christian life and ministry.
One of the main reasons to consider you Bible training and/or internship through TSM is it's over 20 years combined full-time ministry experience. Brother Tom Scarrella spent over ten years in the pastoral ministry and in the traveling ministry. Another reason to choose MTI as your choice for ministry training is that MTI has the ability to help qualified graduates in referral for licensing and/or ordination. And lastly, for qualified graduates, MTI and its leadership team will post their résumé's and help find ministry placement.
Many people believe that a level of the anointing is enough to step directly into ministry. They couldn't be farther from the truth. Training is a Biblical model. Ecclesiastes chapter ten explains this truth. Skill is one of the main ingredients for success.
